Claude Sonnet 4.0 describes the image as: "This image appears to be from the British science fiction television series "Blake's 7," which aired from 1978 to 1981. The scene shows two characters in what looks like a spacecraft interior, with distinctive white paneled walls featuring horizontal stripes in the background.

E.ON's #V2G tariff in Germany, which works with the newest BMW EV and DC bidirectional home charger, is now accepting applications. As this is Germany, legal and tax clarity was needed on revenues from feeding energy back into the grid: V2G is 'Liebhaberei'. [The simple translation from German is: 'It's a hobby.' However, we could also call it a love affair, which might be mo…

Großwärmepumpen are heating up Germany: capacity is expected to increase 6x by 2030.
Rivers and sea are increasingly being used as a heat source. The cost of heat pumps appears to be proportional to their size.
These and other findings from a new study:

Map of Germany showing giant heat pumps in operation and planned, with colors indicating heat source.
Development of installed thermal capacity of giant heat pumps in Germany. Approx. 14 MW in 2025, approximately 80 MW by 2030.
Development of installed and planned giant heat pumps according to heat source, showing open water as biggest source for 2025-2030
Investment costs vs. electric capacity shows linear function.
