The film Blade Runner: poetic, beautiful and full of philosophy, with a fabulous cast and effects, has been a touchstone since it came out in 1982.
With misgivings I watched the profit-seeking 2017 attempt to milk the reverence in which the first film is held. It had its moments, but IMO it is largely a mediocre film.
Can we not leave perfection alone? Now, there's going to be a friggin TV series 😑

Blade Runner makes its live-action return next year
New series will star Michelle Yeoh and take place 50 years after the 2017 film.

I used to have season tickets at Fenway and my bff Charlie and me went to the Sunday games, for 25 years. I miss Charlie and I miss going to the games with him. Since we moved to CO I haven’t watched them. Watched em too much before, tbh. So it’s nice to see this, and send a shoutout to everybody in Kenmore Sq tonite.

No Top of the Pops tonight and I'm far too uninterested to watch the Glastonbury stuff. So I'm sitting on iPlayer watching series 1 of Race Across the World.
I've already watched series 4 and 5 as they were being broadcast, so now I'm going back to the beginning to catch up on what I missed.
