Bullshit-Bingoooooooooo 🤣

Wow, seems the people farmers of surveillance capitalism have fully embraced scammer techniques now.
Ran into this new flow on a number of sites just now (Indiewire, Variety, and RollingStone) delivered by the colossal douchebags at html-load.com who run report-error.com.
They make it look like a browser error has occurred and then tell you to disable your tracker/ad blocker.
To the asshole developers who built this for them instead of refusing: Fuck you for making everyone…

Web page that looks like a browser error being served from https://report.error-error.com…

Health Stuff

Recovered somewhat from whatever that weird fit was at the end of last year.

NHS still has me on some sort of list I think, appointment might turn up next year. Last contact with them they were suggesting maybe November.
But the private treatment gave me the
MRI which
showed nothing weird and post-fit symptoms have been reducing.
Experimented with eating meat to see if that helped.
Tried eating meat for a month to see if it reduced the post-fit symptoms. Maybe it did? Tried vegetarian again and maybe it got worse?
Hard to tell with intermittent symptoms and a terrible memory.
Decided it's more likely to do good than harm (to me, entirely harm to the animals obviously), and eat meat till the end of the year.
While I'm better, I don't really feel fully recovered enough to want to change things so more meat next year I think.
One of those symptoms is that booze tolerance dropped to like zero. Very rarely had more than four pints in a day this year and very rarely more than one night a
week.
Much high number than the target there really.
Tripped over a guy-rope and fell onto the wrist.
Did two days of the festival and the drive home thinking it almost certainly wasn't broken and only confirmed it was when I got home and the hospital put it in a cast.

0:0 gegen Leipzig: Punkt gesichert und die Zu-Null-Serie in der Bundesliga hält! 💪 Ein faires Ergebnis, auch wenn der Honorat-Treffer ärgerlich war.
Fokus jetzt: DFB-Pokal gegen St. Pauli! 🏆
Achtung, Falle! Die größte Gefahr ist, den Gegner nach dem jüngsten 3:0 zu unterschätzen.
Was ist euer Tipp für das Pokalspiel? 👇

“NPR’s board members were excited in the fall of 2023 when they found Ms. Maher. She had worked for the World Bank and HSBC. As the chief executive of the nonprofit that runs Wikipedia, she oversaw a sprawling, complicated community of volunteer editors. And she was prepared.”

I’ve found myself reacting and doing a double-take on some replies to messages that I get from both friends and colleagues. Are they using ”AI” to reply to me (or in group chats)? When the whole world is morphing into an uncanny valley where I no longer know who I’m talking to I really don’t feel safe anymore. I don’t straight out ask because I feel rude doing so, and I also think I’m terrified by the potential of being right.

But, are you aware of people close to you using ”AI” for wo…

So there is a delivery company in Norway called Helthjem, which means something like all the way home or completely home. The idea being that so many delivery companies here actually fail to deliver to you home and make you pick up from a drop off point.
They just send me this text:
Hi! The package from GPN cannot be delivered to your home. It is being sent to Linderud Flower shop. You will be notified when it can be picked up. Tracking number: [redacted] Regards, Helthjem

Hei! Pakken fra GPN kan ikke leveres hjem. Den sendes til Linderud Blomster Petter Holt. Du får beskjed når den kan hentes. Sporingsnummer: [redacted] Hilsen Helthjem

What is your company name, motherfucker?

We don't allow cats on our dinner table, and they full well know that (their punishment when caught is corporal cuddling).
While I was out of the house just now and my wife asleep, the 13yo took this picture.
Oh yeah, my wife's laptop often seems to mysterious crash overnight..

A dining room table with a bunch of random stuff on it; laptop, water bottles, a box of markers/art stuff, a kid's backpack, some plastic bags, etc. There are also 3 cats on there. Erie, a mostly black tuxedo cat sits comfortably on the keyboard of the laptop (which has its screen on and is unlocked, because she's obviously hard at work). Clove, a much whiter tuxedo cat (and Erie's mom) sits next to the backpack. Twig, a tabby, loafs on top of some plastic bags. All 3 cats are looking at the ca…
