In full swing on Trixie, with awesome wm.
But, most importantly, also revisit the dk window manager. And that is so nice 👍🏻.
Very lean, made by Nate Maia, one of the main characters in the life and times of ArchLabs. And that's where I got all this craziness from.
Excellent distro, with an excellent community as well. And so many great offsprings out if it.
This whole Foss thing we find ourselves in today could learn a thing or three from it.

If you need a fun novelty lightweight window manager for something, consider progman. Looks like Windows 3.1, works on OpenBSD and Linux.

So here's the thing. I spend today in the River window manager, on VoidLinux. Time well spend, tweaking and molding everything to my liking. Just as I did on Slackware and Gentoo.
Then I had dinner and a beer, and watched a vid of someone installing Fedora, extensions et al. It all went smoothly and the mildly tweaked system was up and running in no time.
I felt a certain weariness with myself setting in. All that self-inflicted damage 🤣
