I'm configuring Prosody, following the docs the best I can. When I set some SRV records for example.org to be XMPP served by prosody.example.org, does the certificate need to be issued to example.org or to prosody.example.org or to both?

I set SRV records for _xmpps-{client,server}._tcp.example.org. Prosody docs don't mention those anymore (but other websites do) and `prosodyctl` complains about "unknown Direct TLS port". Are they deprecated? Do I need them or can I make use of them at least?

Przez noc coś zeżarło moją instancję #pleroma .

Ostateczną przyczyną było zapełnienie dysku, ale prawdziwy powód to skrypt "pleroma_ejabberd_auth.py" i autentykacja ejabberd (serwer xmpp).

Skrypt widać ktoś próbował złamać hasło i wykonał miliony prób logowania, co spowodowało zapełnienie dysku, zanim logrotate obciął plik.

Sam system działał jako tako, bo mam…

1. XMPP bekommt Trusted Federation, sodass Gruppenräume nicht mehr nur auf einem Server liegen.

How does XMPP work? I'm looking at Jabber's website and apparently some clients are both clients and servers at the same time or something? It's quite confusing...
Are spaces or multi-channel groups (like discord) a thing in xmpp? Which clients support that on iOS and Linux and etc?
Is Movim a client or a server or what?
Are groups hosted in the server of the user who created it like on Matrix or what?
Any easy tutorials I could send to my discord friends?

What's the current state of XMPP and OpenID Connect? My web search returned that ejabberd is still considering if and how to implement and Prosody has experimental alpha-stage support via a module. I couldn't find anything conclusive in regards to XMPP clients. What's with Gajim(?) and Conversations? Or other clients? Are there any web clients supporting OIDC?
