New work laptop. I don't want to sign it into my #Apple account for obvious reasons.
Connect my Apple trackpad to the new work machine and it works fine.
Try to reconnect the trackpad to my personal Mac so I can do some homelab stuff over the weekend, not so fine. It shows up in the BT menu, but won't actually connect until I have the laptop forget the device.
Ok, I think, I'll just connect it wired since I only use the trackpad at my desk at home anyway.
That doesn't work because why would you want to be able to plug in a device with a wire and have it Just Work when instead you could get to fuck around with Bluetooth.
And of course I get to do the forget device bullshit again in order to use it with my work laptop today

I've only experienced Liquid Glass on my #iPhone so far. It will take time to grow on me. I hope #Apple has thought through the accessibility of it. I prefer the older flat look of iOS 18 personally.

I just updated Safari and all my Booksmarks rom years of collecting are all GONE!!!

As I was wrapping up for the day yesterday I decided to let #Tahoe #macOS26 install.
Then I forgot.
I put my laptop in my bag and didn’t open it until now.
I opened the lid to a black screen, it still seemed on, but unresponsive.
So I force-shut it down and it rebooted, restarted whatever portion it was at, and allowed me to login.
Looks like it worked.
No. Apple. I do not want your “occasionally mistaken” summaries of my notifications.
Otherwise… everything looks fine.

I need a recommendation for a new iPhone 16 case. The Apple Silicone case which I bought, and that I thought would last a decent wedge of time, only lasted 11 months before snapping at the USBC port.
The Apple Genius said that it wasn't covered by warranty, which didn't really impress me as I'm very careful with my phone. The Silicone is also peeling at the bottom.
