PSA: Apple Music deletes all of your Playlists when you stop subscribing or switching to Apple One. If you subscribe to Apple One you have to be still subscribed to Apple Music, else all of your Library gets deleted (except Music that was bought). Got Apple One for free 3 Months with the purchase of the iPhone 18 Pro. Apple Support describes this as „works as expected“.

Apple maakt prachtige producten maar de mythe dat de privacy beter is geborgd bij deze leverancier mag van mij wel van tafel, anders hoor ik graag welke juridische waarborgen er zijn, externe audits van hun infra, data opslag en gegevensbescherming waar ik kennis van kan nemen etc. Overigens zelf Google gebruiker waar de situatie net zo slecht is, maar we moeten wel de feiten blijven benoemen.

Latest mad science. macOS clone of something useful I use on Linux all the time. A widget that sits in the task bar, runs a command regularly, and displays the output next to an emoji. I use it to tell me if there are updates ready, but can be used for anything. Enjoy.
