My LG TV has finally been shame-banned to be on the IoT VLAN instead of the normal LAN. It meant some additional (now very specific) firewall rules, although my #OPNsense UDP Broadcast Relay config already takes care of mDNS/Chromecast/etc.
It is now also explicitly banned from bypassing my #PiHole DNS filter, which has particular LG badness block lists installed...
Well done, #LG, you have officially moved into the malicious devices category on my home network.

Small update: Instead of banning outgoing UDP port 53, I now NAT (redirect) it to the local #PiHole, which works better than rejecting the hard-coded 8.8.8.8 server.
Another small update: https://github.com/furkan-bayrak/lg-tv-blocklist seems to be a good up-to-date DNS block list for PiHole and other formats.
