Interesting piece on the #Arctic #SeaIce and it's (improving) representation in global climate models by Gavin Schmidt over on @realclimate, I'm not entirely sure all of the improvement is for the right reasons, there are probably compensating biases, it would be interesting to see if the models get the regional signal correct in different parts of the Arctic, but overall I agree with this piece, there have been some big steps forward in global models, the regional level is often not very well represented though.

Es gibt den Hashtag #ZeigtHerEureFächer !? Da muss ich natürlich zwei meiner inzwischen 20 Fächer zeigen. In jedem Raum befinden sich ein paar, taktisch verteilt, und ich gehe seit Jahren nirgendwo mehr ohne einen hin. Selbst bei milden Temperaturen ist mir oft vor allem in Innenräumen schnell zu warm.

Ein hübscher blauer Stofffächer. Die Streben sind aus schwarz lackiertem Bambus, der dunkelblaue Stoff ist prächtig mit weißen Blüten, sowie hellblauen und rosa Schmetterlingen bedruckt. Goldene Wirbel sind zusätzlich aufgemalt. Der Fächer hat eine dunkelblaue Quaste und liegt auf einem grauen Stoff.
Ein sehr bunter Fächer mit Streben aus hellem Holz. Der Fächer selbst besteht aus Papier und zeigt zwei Figuren - Kagamine Rin ist ein Mädchen mit kurzen blonden Haaren mit rosa Haarschmuck, türkisblauen Augen und rosa Fingernägeln. Sie trägt einen prächtigen magentafarbenen Kimono und hält einen hellrosa Fächer ins Bild.
