The thing I hate about working in the #JavaScript space is bit-rot. My #ClojureScript swinging needle meter demo, written in 2017, still works, but I can no longer compile it from source.
Probably this won't take too long to fix, but it is work which should not have to be done.

InDesign is also falling apart now, it seems. Laggy af on an M1 Max with 32 GB of RAM, and the undo command is regularly breaking (!). And it’s always the same story: people report these bugs to Adobe, but they just persist for months and months. 🤨

This is good. Folks struggling to make it as indies, yes — and anyone feeling any sort of gnawing sense of inadequacy because they aren’t producing more creative work, or making more money from it, or…whatever.

It’s still pretty cringe-worthy to hear this sort of incumbent operator talk. They take no blame whatsoever for their own failings (high prices, poor grid integration), yet believe that the government shouldn’t intervene in their price discrimination, but should auction off as much land as possible
