No, @…, emphasizing the safety of vaccines is not a strawman. For everlasting fuck’s sake.
Come back to planet Earth, where:
- scare-mongering about vaccines is running rampant,
- right-wing propaganda is intentionally fueling that fear for profiteering and political gain,
- parents are very clearly afraid of the vaccines themselves right now,
- diseases like measles are making a return because of that fear, and
- people are dying as a result.
Your post is a non-sequitur. Whatever stick you have up your butt about lockdowns or whatever this post was about, please keep that stick in your butt and out of vaccine safety discussions. mastodon.online/@dennmans/1156

Aurora as seen from Florida

Image of a planet sized rainbow shooting off from the southern hemisphere of Earth showing a grey cat wearing beauty pageant sash and a tiara riding on top of a flying saucer to the end of said rainbow, which leads to a wormhole in space. A street sign in the middle of the rainbow says it's International Drive and Rainbow Drive, while rainbow & heart shaped bubbles float in space nearby. Oh, there's also fireworks the size of North America exploding above Earth while the Tardis and USS Enterpri…

"Hastened by the golden-haired Horai Sol (the Sun) puts on his diadem of myriad rays [. . .] Then above the earth and above the horns of the eastern mount he shone forth, and drew a train of light over the sparkling waves."

Silver bowl with a sacrifice scene in relief: a youthful priest wearing a flowing sleeveless tunic and a mantle rolled around his waist and draped over his left arm, a laurel wreath in his full curly locks, cradling pomegranates and other fruit in the crook of his left arm, gripping a goat by its horn, leading it toward a flaming hexagonal altar, embellished with scrolling dots on the upper surface and base, a wreath around its center, the altar situated at the base of the steps of a Temple to …

Looks like the Danakil Depression is trying to become a bay…
I’ve always wanted to live through a major geologic event. I missed the Zanclean Flood, the filling of the Black Sea, and the glacial outbreak of Lake Bonneville, but hopefully NatGeo or someone will get some cameras out to that Hell-on-Earth location. It could be really big…
(keep it to yourself if you just want to tell me it’s not happening. Do you think I don’t know?)

NASA’s #Carruthers Geocorona Observatory has also achieved its target orbit, positioning the spacecraft to capture the first repeated observations of the ultraviolet glow from Earth’s outer atmosphere, the geocorona: science.nasa.gov/blogs/carruth - the achievement was confirmed following its third and final orbital maneuver, a 2-minute thruster fire, on Jan. 8; the spacecraft has now entered its intended halo orbit around the Sun-Earth L1 Lagrange point, a position of gravitational balance approximately 1 million miles from Earth.

Claude Sonnet 4.0 describes the image as: "This image appears to be from the British science fiction television series "Blake's 7," which aired from 1978 to 1981. The scene shows two characters in what appears to be a spaceship or futuristic setting, with dark metallic walls visible in the background. Both individuals are wearing flowing, draped clothing in muted earth tones that's characteristic of the show's costume design. The woman has a blonde, layered hairstyle typical of late 1970s fashi…
