Zij werd afgelopen zondag gearresteerd tijdens een protest tegen immigratiedienst ICE. Op de foto die het Witte Huis heeft gedeeld, is te zien hoe Armstrong hard huilt tijdens haar arrestatie. Op de originele foto is dat helemaal niet het geval.
