2001 hatte ich das Vergnügen die Formation Old Friends feat. Klaus Doldinger, Albert Mangelsdorff, Eberhard Weber, Wolfgang Dauner, Manfred Schoof, Ralf Hübner in Ingolstadt anläßlich des Ingolstädter Jazzfestivals live zu sehen.

Klaus Doldinger galt als Deutschlands "König des Jazz". Als Komponist der "Tatort"-Titelmelodie und der Filmmusik von "Das Boot" oder "Die unendliche Geschichte" verewigte er sich bei einem Millionenpublikum. Nun ist er im Alter von 89 Jahren gestorben.

Sigh, well I was feeling good about getting an ebike but I stopped by a local shop and the model I was looking at is pretty much sold out everywhere. They do have newer models ($more expensive$) and some other modes so I may need to do up that whole spreadsheet of features to compare things.

I watched Multiple Maniacs last night for the first time (I don't recommend it 😂). Although I love John Waters films and I've seen most/all of them at this point, Multiple Maniacs' plot was kinda everywhere alongside its clear shock intentions. Pink Flamingos came out just two years later in 1972, was in color, features basically all the same actors, and unbelievably, Pink Flamingos is the more coherent and cohesive film 😂🤣
