RNA function is deeply intertwined with its conformational dynamics. In this review, we survey recent advances in the use of atomistic molecular dynamics simulations to characterize RNA dynamics in diverse contexts, including isolated molecules and complexes with ions, small molecules, or proteins. Complications from surgery landed my dad back in the hospital late Wednesday. Successful exploratory surgery found and hopefully stopped the internal bleeding.
If a few key numbers remain stabile, he might get released today. But in the interim, it’ll have to be a Father’s Day video call to his hospital room.

Discovery and Localization of the Swift-Observed FRB 20241228A in a Star-forming Host Galaxy
On 2024 December 28, CHIME/FRB detected the thus-far non-repeating FRB 20241228A with a real-time signal-to-noise ratio of $>50$. Approximately 112~s later, the X-ray Telescope onboard the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory was on source, the fastest follow-up to-date of a non-repeating FRB (Tohuvavohu et al. in prep.). The recent ALICE results on hard probes, focusing on open heavy flavor, quarkonia, and jet measurements in pp and Pb--Pb collisions are presented.
