Since we had temperatures of -15/-13℃ (5℉) the past few nights, I was planning to go on an early morning shoot of one of my favorite waterfalls, but decided against it due to severe black ice warnings and likely ensuing road chaos today... Hope there will be more cold nights this winter...
So instead, some close-up detail shots of ice structures at the same waterfall from exactly 364 morning ago. Enjoy!

Det finns banne mig något hoppfullt i att så många tar sig till Mynttorget för att protestera mot den fruktansvärda ambitionen att tillåta 13-14-åringar i fängelse.

Today I have procrastinated by rearranging books. I have far too many for such a small house.
(Doing this reminded me of a piece by a #Palestinian academic I read recently. He has just started teaching again, but all his books have been lost or destroyed. To be without my books would be very hard for me)

Non work thinking books, a very miscallaneous collection. In front of them are a trans pride flag, my practice sword, and my longbow.
Books which are being evicted from my bedroom, roughly organised into loose piles on my bed.
The fiction bookshelf — an extraordinarily catholic collection, each volume of which I have some reason for keeping (not all of them are good!)
Mostly-work thinking books (there's also a collection of Scots politics books top right, which overflowed from somewhere else)

#OTD 2014 vanuit het net nieuwe TivoliVredenburg, #Utrecht. Ter vergelijking ongeveer zelfde uitzicht in september 2025. Dit ziet er over een jaar weer heel anders uit, nu het Smakkelaarsveld bebouwd wordt.

Vandaag weer een rondje met de trike.
Drie nieuwtjes:
Voor het eerst met de nieuwe fietstassen. Ik heb niets van ze gemerkt dus dat was goed.
Voor het eerst door het buitengebied van Almere Buiten, dat was leuk.
Voor het eerst een rondje van tien kilometer. Ook blij mee.
