100 of the ~280 linden trees of #Mäkelänkatu in #Helsinki have been cut. Some of the last trunks are being removed right now.
Judging from the growth rings, some of these trees were about 50 years old and had their best days a few decades ago, but also some good summers recently. Trees rarely…

Weer een klein rondje op de trike. Ik heb wel het idee dat ik steeds meer spullen meefiets. Mijn helm is inmiddels een vast attribuut, al is omvallen niet direct een risico. Het risico op aanrijdingen is m.i. ook minder, ik ben goed zichtbaar, vlaggetje, licht, en inhalend verkeer, auto's èn fatbikes houden meer afstand. Vandaag ook een muts onder de helm, want die ventileert te goed met deze temperatuur. En de volgende keer ook een gele overzetzonnebril tegen de laagstaande zon.

Heute stand die Erkundung der Stadt #Hiroshima an. Erst ging es in den Garten Shukkei-en, der vom lokalen Fürsten angelegt worden war. Gerade mit dem Herbstlaub wirklich sehr schön.
Danach folgte die Burg Hiroshima, deren Burgfried und einige andere Teile rekonstruiert wurden.
