Enjoying my 2nd cup of coffee this morning as I make a list of projects for today. We have 4 contractors coming in over the next 2 weeks, and I've got prep work to get ready. Nothing too strenuous or stressful as the bulk of the tasks are done. These projects (staircase, Murphy bed, closet organizers, and eavestrough) will also use up most of our contingency funds we gained from our downsizing earlier this year. Back to boring old budgeting.

It was kind of a pity decision since Toronto had recently lost out to Ottawa when the Queen, the one in England, chose the capital for the Province of Canada. Confederation decreed that the Province of Canada would be split with Canada East becoming Quebec, and Canada West would now be known as Ontario. Toronto got the last laugh because the entire country now revolves around the city, at least in the minds of certain provincial politicians who may or may not want all of Canada to pay for a tunnel under #Hwy401.

So after some thought, I think I'm gonna break out all of the signals coming out of the CMPTR connector. Shouldn't really increase the cost of the device, and it might be useful for troubleshooting if you could inline the board so I'd have to add another DB-25 connector.

Habe kürzlich von der Spektraldarstellung in @… gelernt.
Dabei werden die standmäßigen Peaks noch nach Frequenzen eingefärbt.
Wenn man sich kennt, kann man auch ohne die Farben schon "ähs" sehen, aber das ist nochmal auf einem anderen Level an "visueller Information über Audio".
Im Bild ist einfach ein Stück Sprache von mir. Was geht da ab? Warum wechseln die Frequenzen so häufig? Sprechen alle so? Ist das normal?

Heute ist zum ersten Mal das aus der Apple-Werbung passiert:
Unbekannte Nummer aus dem Ausland ruft an. Klingelt und brummt aber nicht sondern iPhone schickt mir nur eine Push (auf das MacBook sogar) mit "Screening call" oder so ähnlich.
Das war wohl diese Funktion, wo das Handy erstmal alleine nachfragt, wer da anruft und warum?
Nach 2 Sekunden hat die Gegenseite dann aufgelegt. War wahrscheinlich ein Bot, der das erkannt hat, dass hier nix zu holen ist?

Total emotional diese weißen A4 Blätter mit “Jaron” drauf in MS Word Standard Schrift, selbst gedruckt. Gänsehaut. 🤡

Die einzige Möglichkeit sich irgendwie zu äußern ist eine Rezension zu schreiben und daher sieht man auch in den Rezensionen dann immer wieder 1-Sterne Reviews wo drin steht "Produkt kam kaputt an", aber ich habe ja nichts zum Buch zu sagen, sondern zu einer Logistik die offensichtlich beschädigte Artikel in das "kann als neu verkauft werden" Regal tut... Das ist so kaputt.

Amazon ist so eine Müllhalde ... Ich hab das Buch hier bestellt, weil naja, günstig halt und ich brauchte eh noch was um Versandkosten zu sparen. Fehler. Kommt an: verschmutzt, 1. Seite eingeknickt, Ecken abgestoßen.
Einzige Option ist der allgemeine Kanal "Rücksendung" Erstattung / Ersatz.
Die wollen nichts hören dazu. "Gefällt mir doch nicht" ist das Gleiche wie "ihr habt Mist gebaut". Es ist einfach egal.
