Ein gestapeltes Flächendiagramm zeigt die Entwicklung der Speicherkapazität von Batteriespeichern in Deutschland ab 2012, aufgeteilt nach Marktakteuren, mit Stand vom 01.11.2025. Privatpersonen (blau) dominieren deutlich, Unternehmen (orange) tragen einen kleineren, aber zunehmenden Anteil bei. Die Gesamtkapazität steigt ab 2020 stark an. Die aktuelle Gesamtkapazität liegt bei 18,68 Gihawattstunden.
