Global cybercrime crackdown: over 373 000 dark web sites shut down – Authorities from 23 countries participate in the operation | Europol
On 9 March 2026, a global operation led by German authorities and supported by Europol was launched against one of the largest networks of fraudulent platforms in the dark web. The investigation began in mid-2021 against the dark web platform “Alice with Violence CP”. During the investigation, authorities discovered that the platform’s operator was running more than 373 000 fraudulent websites advertising child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and cybercrime-as-a-service (CaaS) offerings.

After patching and rebuilding kwin_wayland to remove the bullshit-ass fucking hardcoded gestures that have been in there since at least 2021 with an open bug, funding spent, and no resolution in sight, and thereafter installing both fusuma and fusuma-plugin-sendkey, I have sucessfully gotten KDE on Wayland to behave normally qua gestures. I think.
XScreenSaver 6.11 has preliminary (non-locking) Wayland support, which may obviate my dirty hack to watch input devices DBus and run demo…

View of the upper section of Oytal and surrounding majestic mountains, as seen from a narrow hiking path near the ridge, a 1000 meters above the valley. Super steep grassy cliffs and slopes (in autumn colors) dropping down directly next to the path. Another small path winding up in the valley to the cirque in the distance. Some of these mountains there already dusted with snow.
