These are tricky times for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The “special military operation” he launched against Ukraine in 2022,
intended to last a few days until a puppet regime in Kyiv could be installed,
has now gone on longer than both the Soviet fight against Nazi Germany and all of World War I.

Mehr als die Hälfte der Zeit stehe ich inzwischen. Pausen, Fotos, Kaffee, Schauen.
Das ist keine Verschlechterung. Das ist der eigentliche Punkt am Reisen.

In 2022 I installed my archive copy of 1Password 4.1 on a new machine. It would not honor my 2016 license key (1Password killed its license server killed when it went SaaS).
1Password support tried very hard to move me to the SaaS model (3 free years!), but I repeatedly declined.
I eventually got 1Password support to give me an _older_ version that didn’t talk to a license server.
And I feel much better about standing firm now that 1Password has gone full fash.

I've read the Sprawl Trilogy several times and watched the Blade Runner movies several times too. And I love them.
Yet, it's hard to be excited about these two projects because they are being produced as series by the usual culprits.

An wie vielen Tagen im Jahr ich überhaupt aufs Rad steige:
2020: 20 %
2022: 64 %
2023: 88 %
2024: 99 %
2025: 97 %
2026: 100 %
Das ist der Wandel, der mir selbst am wenigsten aufgefallen ist. Nicht weiter, nicht schneller. Nur keine Lücken mehr.
Irgendwann hat es aufgehört, eine Entscheidung zu sein.
