In 2023, ultrafast pump-probe spectrocopy was used to record the solvation dynamics of a single Na$^+$ ion in a liquid helium droplet, atom-by-atom and with femtosecond time resolution [Albrechtsen \textit{et al., Nature}, 2023, \textbf{623}, 319]. Got my #Fairphone running /e/OS , a deGoogled Android OS.

I took a bit of a gamble, as I wasn't sure all the apps I really need would run. Turns out they do, including the Nordea ID app.

It is usable as a daily driver.
/e/OS looks clean and uncluttered too.

I'm decades younger, work in tech, have worked on the development of a mobile phone OS in the past and also think this is bullshit.
I've got perfectly functional phones I can't use any more because they stopped getting security updates.
