Asteroseismology of the G8 subgiant beta Aquilae with SONG-Tenerife, SONG-Australia and TESS
We present radial velocities of the G8 subgiant star beta Aql obtained in 2022 and 2023 using SONG-Tenerife and SONG-Australia. We also analysed a sector of TESS photometry that overlapped with the 2022 SONG data. We processed the time series to assign weights and to remove bad data points. Ergodicity of the hard-core PCA with a random walk method
The hard-core probabilistic cellular automaton has attracted a renewed interest in the last few years, thanks to its connection with the study of a combinatorial game on percolation configurations. We provide an alternative proof for the ergodicity of this PCA for a neighbourhood of size $2$ and $3$, using the notion of decorrelated islands introduced by Casse in 2023, together with some new ideas. This shortens the previous proofs and provides a more intuitive and unified approach.

A search for the rare decay D$^0$ $\to$ $μ^+μ^-$ is reported using proton-proton collision events at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13.6 TeV collected by the CMS detector in 2022$-$2023, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 64.5 fb$^{-1}$. This is the first analysis to use a newly developed inclusive dimuon trigger, expanding the scope of the CMS flavor physics program.
