For a non-negative integer $k$, let $\mathrm{HS}_{k}(J(G))$ denote the $k^{\text{th}}$ homological shift ideal of the vertex cover ideal $J(G)$ of a graph $G$. For each $k\geq 2$, we construct a Cohen-Macaulay very well-covered graph $G_k$ which is both Cohen-Macaulay bipartite and a whiskered graph so that $\mathrm{HS}_{k}(J(G))$ does not have a linear resolution. The origin of the coherent radio flash potentially associated with GRB 201006A
Rowlinson et al. 2023 recently claimed the detection of a coherent radio flash 76.6 minutes after a short gamma-ray burst. They proposed that the radio emission may be associated with a long-lived neutron star engine. Outgroup Animosity Has Risen for Politicians, Journalists, and a Sample of Partisan Users on Twitter and Reddit
Using language models, we analyze a sample of 67 million tweets and 30 million Reddit comments referencing a set of 215 political entities from 2010-2023 from partisan users, journalists, and politicians. Our analysis indicates outgroup animosity has increased consistently in our sample, with newer cohorts of users expressing higher levels of animosity than previous ones.
