My legs under a light pink blanket. Between my legs, a black cat is fast asleep, lying on her side with her head resting on her paws. Kind of blurry, as it was taken with a shitty webcam.
A better pic taken of the same cat on my legs. This one taken from above, with a cell phone camera. My silver laptop is partially visible, and Erie's white patches (her tummy, her back paws) are barely visible as well. Her eye is open just a slit (as she looks suspiciously up at my wife).

I'm currently debugging why a pair of cumana 5.25" floppy drives doesn't step on one of my Model B's; it's got a switchable 40/80 board on it which is where my current suspicion lies; a Cumana CU1585 (?) board - which I reckon is something like below. The step line seems to be stuck at about 1.4v.
Alas neither chip is socketed so it's a bit of a pain (The whole build is a pain, the board is soldered to the end of the floppy ribbon, and squeezed into a gap behin…

A rough schematic of a small 74 logic board, with a 74LS38 opencollector NAND set, and a 74LS123 dual monostable; the two monostables seem to be coupled in a little loop. One output of the 38 goes to the step line and also to the A input of one of the monstables.

Leuchtend gelbe Blüten einer Mahonie stehen in dichten, kugelförmigen Dolden zusammen. Die Einzelblüten sind klein und zahlreich, teils noch als grün-gelbe Knospen erkennbar. Die umgebenden Blätter sind dunkelgrün, glänzend und weisen gezackte Ränder auf. Der Hintergrund ist unscharf, zeigt aber weitere Blätter und Blütenstände der gleichen Pflanze.

Disappointing growth in EU biomethane production, growing by 'only' 12% from 'gas year' (Oct-Sep) 2023/24 to 2024/2025.
5 years to go to the REpowerEU target of 350 TWh; that would now require a 52% compound annual growth rate.
Tall order, but today's news shows how important it is to accelerate!
