Can someone enlighten me as to why multi-port ganged SMPM connectors are so expensive per port vs single-port ones?
e.g. Amphenol SV Microwave 9311-00071 is 8 ports for $286 (digikey qty 1) while Amphenol RF 925-197J-51PT is $6.85 for 1 port and $58.20 for ten of them. It takes up a little bit more space, but $46 vs $286 for 8 ports is a huge cost increase

But in short... insertion loss behavior of the two routings is very close, within half a dB or so almost the entire path and criscrossing a few times. The "good" is actually about a dB worse at 35 GHz but this is beyond the 3rd harmonic of the data rate so I don't really care.
