In 2024 kwamen 316 duizend immigranten naar Nederland. Dat waren er 19 duizend minder dan het jaar ervoor. Zowel de immigratie uit EU-landen als uit overige landen was lager dan in 2023, het aantal immigranten met de Nederlandse nationaliteit bleef gelijk. Vooral het aantal kennismigranten dat van buiten de EU naar Nederland kwam daalde. Dat meldt het CBS op basis van recente cijfers.

Nu H ziek thuis zit wordt er weinig gereden, maar af en toe moet dikke Robert toch worden bijgeladen. Vandaag was daarvoor een zeer geschikt moment. De laadpaal stopt alle stroom die anders terug geleverd zou worden in de auto. Dan reageert hij dus op het wisselende huisgebruik. Dat gaat snel en nauwkeurig dus je haalt bij dit weer vrijwel niets uit het net.

Bureau Buitenland met Kysia Hekster en Hein de Haas over de verkiezingen van Polen en (vooral) over asiel en arbeidsmigratie. Dat laatste even een aanrader voor iedereen die wil weten waarom die stromen zo lopen tegenwoordig. En ... in mijn overtuiging gewoon nog wel even verder gaat omdat beide partijen (het ontvangende land & (arbeids) migrant) er belang bij hebben.
Zoals Kysia opmerkt: Hongarije houdt dan wel asiel tegen, maar wel heel veel arbeidsmigranten.

Het fijne van zonnepanelen is dat je zonder schuldgevoel over het klimaat de airco's hard aan kan zetten (en dan nog lever ik stroom terug). Nog steeds spijt dat ik niet op alle verdiepingen airco heb. Dus nee, warm is het niet in huis 🙂

Als we dit op willen lossen zullen er meer en betere Europese producten moeten gaan komen. En vervolgens moeten we die ook nog gaan kopen, en niet makkelijk weer voor dezelfde VS big tech spullen kiezen. Wordt hard werken allemaal. En niemand houdt van hard werken, en dus springt iedereen vol enthousiasme op ieder bericht dat er een makkelijkere oplossing gevonden is.
