Help beta-test a new version of my favourite little iOS Mastodon app @…!
(The one with the rainbow threads sidebar 🧵 🌈 that should be a standard across social media apps)

Spacing in #macOS Tahoe may be broken when a sidebar is used for UI.

The buttons in a bar have no spacing in a sidebar. Two apps show exhibiting the same behavior.

I just used Regedit to clean Microsoft's mess and delete 2 unwanted out of 4 input methods from the language applet menu o.O (This is a clean Win11 install from July. The problem seems to be reported as far back as 2022.)
A week ago, I had to uninstall and re-install OneDrive with the \allusers command line argument to make it stop duplicating itself in the sidebar and get back the share option in the context menu per file or folder. (Also a longstanding bug.)
Copilot is neat…

Is there any way to completely disable Xcode 26’s “Coding Intelligence” features? Like, I don’t want to see “generate fix for this issue” buttons or the Coding Assistant sidebar. Ever. Thanks!

Ok, another complaint about MacOS26... when a file modal appears, switching between sidebar items is slow. It used to be instant, now it take a few seconds.
FWIW, I'm using a Mac Mini M2Pro 16/500

It’s amazing how you can make #FreeTube so simple and distraction-free!
#FreeSoftware

A desktop screenshot of the FreeTube application in dark mode, showing the “Subscriptions” feed. Several video entries are listed vertically, each with a blurred thumbnail, a “WATCHED” label, titles such as “Everything in relation to everything else,” “Are Raccoons Being Domesticated?”, “What these Popular Chrome Extensions are Really Doing?”, and “Surviving 9 to 5 in Your 30s,” along with creator names and upload times. The left sidebar displays icons for feed, subscriptions, history, settings…

Not what I originally wanted, but I do like Mastodeck.
mastodeck.com/
The content is wider than the screen, but does not need a horizontal scroll bar.
Scrolling occurs when I click the sidebar icon for the required column.

I think this is the first time I like a GitLab UI change. The "search or go to" field makes much more sense on the top of the page. And I can create a new issue from anywhere in a project. Still not a fan of issues opening in this weird sidebar thing (my browser has tabs and a back button..).

@… I got iA Presenter today only to discover it is full of UI bugs. Thumbnail sidebar button hidden behind macOS window controls, dock icon defaulting to dark even when I said it should be light in the settings. I expected more from iA.
