@alejandrobdn@social.linux.pizzaI shy away from the "Apple philosophy" with all my might, but there are many companies that apply it. I have a high-end 3D printer with a closed ecosystem, nothing that frightens an Apple user, but it terrifies me. Why? Because a simple (bad) printing bed costs more than 120 euros.
It's not a question of whether I can afford it, it's that I don't want to do it.
Fuck them, I'm going to get a Chinese one (and probably better) for half the price.

@eyebee@mstdn.socialYes, it's a bad design fault having the Apple Mouse charging port on the bottom, but I don't find it a big problem. I plug it in, when I go to bed, and it's full of beans in the morning - unlike me.

It’s bad, and what’s worse that it’s bad for no reason at all.
The idea of transparent user interfaces for general-purpose computing platforms is fundamentally flawed and can’t be fixed.
This is HCI design 101 stuff.

The technology and its purpose still feels pretty murky to me, but maybe I'm just bad at paying attention :-) I usually stay away from the people dissecting shows on youtube who are turning over every stone to build fan theories.
Halfway through season 2, however, I discovered the insight videos that Apple has for every episode.…
