An high alpine glacial origin zone at around 4000m elevation. Most of the summit and ridge line is covered in thick ice & snow, providing only little contrast to the mostly overcast cloudy white sky. A bit further down the first seracs are already forming, ahead of the so called "labyrinth zone" caused by a sudden steep 1000m+ drop (out of frame). Parts of the ice in those seracs are showing the distinctive rich cyan color of glacier ice. A couple of "small" rocky ridges are semi-exposed. The i…
