Just tried #bookwyrm with a calibre import of about 280 books.
Result: over 100 failed to import 😢. I'm not yet sure if I'll add all of them over time or just new ones 🤔
At least I added the first 6 or so. But it's quite time consuming. - yet I notice it could be easier if I just search for the ISBN.. I'll try that later

As is so often the case, the people in my life I believe need to read this book, are exactly the ones that would be most resistant to it.
So far though, great intro to the world of AI hype. Looking forward to finishing it.

This is the same lesson so many academic institutions refuse to learn (of course they do, the income for their overpaid "leadership" depends on it).

Not because of Bookwyrm - but because I got aware of OpenLibrary -- ANOTHER project I could contribute to!!! 🙈
