Its non-locally-precompact part combines an infinite-fibre amplification, a simultaneous Bernoulli colouring lemma for countably many arbitrary self-maps, a McShane extension with respect to a continuous left-invariant pseudometric, and the Protasov--Saryev criterion. We also prove a countable-union form of Question~4: in an \(\FSIN\) group, every left uniformly discrete family whose union is countable is right uniformly discrete. Consequently, Questions~7 and~8 have positive answers for \(\aleph_0\)-bounded \(\FSIN\) groups. We reconstruct all thirteen questions and their logical relations. The original problem chapter states, without proof, that a positive answer to Question~13 would imply Question~4 for all \(\aleph_0\)-bounded groups. We isolate the ambient reflection principle needed for that transfer and explain why neither subgroup reduction nor the present colouring proof establishes it. We then describe the forward and inverse problems, including subject-specific head modeling, source reconstruction techniques, and the importance of accurate anatomical modeling for reliable source localization. Strategies for mitigating volume conduction and signal leakage are discussed, together with best practices for source-space connectivity analysis. The chapter reviews widely used functional and effective connectivity measures, including coherence, phase synchronization metrics, amplitude envelope correlation, Granger causality, dynamic causal modeling, and transfer entropy, highlighting their assumptions, advantages, and limitations. Before I got shot, I was trying to figure out how to organize against Trump. I found out about the Twin Cities GDC. They had made it relatively easy to organize a GDC chapter. We were working on getting chartered when I got shot.
Twin Cities GDC sent people to help us get Greater Seattle Seattle GDC off the ground. One of their folks helped my partner make sure the house was secure. They gave all sorts of training. We used their "GDC in a box" zip file that had everything you needed to get started (dues forms, meeting notes templates, etc).
When I got out of the hospital, I ended up talking with Erik a few times. I have a *huge* amount of respect for him.
This is the real threat: support, cooperation, organizing. It's not about militancy. It's about organizing. The fascist state wants to destroy people who build. That's the whole point.
He is a threat because he has worked tirelessly, for years, against countless challenges, to make things better for people. That is the thing that cannot be.

Just played the first 3 hours or so of Death Stranding, until like the beginning(?) of chapter 2.

Hugos mom told him it was a gift, not an illness. Well, sure it might be a gift for him but what about all the people that died from the plague? The rats can't just stay around after that right? If there are no rats he has no powers right?
Also if he went through the first threshold when reuniting with Amicia I wonder what the 2nd game will be about. Maybe the other thresholds are more dangerous?
Also, what did the threshold actually change if his powers remained the same?
Also wonder what's going on with the Inquisitor rn, we'll probably figure out in this chapter.
I also wonder if the plague will still be a thing next game.

Chapter 9 is great, and then they actually find the solution in the old carriers prision which sets everything up to work out well... But then apparently everything is going off rails now? All for nothing...
Ugh idk, I'll keep playing to see how the game actuality gets there but like... Ugh.

~~Ok, in chapter 2 there's this elevator thing when you're trying to get sulphur. The game devs want you to make your companion hold it for you while you go to the other side, but they show this as if the elevator was locked up when Amicia tries to pull it. But your companion here is clearly weaker and smallwr than you, and yet he's able to pull it just fine? Why not just letting you move the elevator and then say "oops I need to go through instead of to hold this"~~
Nvm I'm dumb, I thought you were supposed to repeatedly press triangle but you should press and hold it instead so that's why it didn't work lmao. I prefere repeatedly pressing like in the previous game, I wonder if there's an option for that...

I thought the La Cuna open world fun was over and that now it'd be now dark full of rats (except for the clear lack of enough fireplaces around it to lit in that case), but maybe Amicia gets hurt now and we get back there? Weird that the article does mention chapter 9 tho...
Also when going to the round tower I didn't think it'd already be the goto the fort and end of the open world, if I did I'd have done a last exploring around the world first (even tho I think I found everything, I did want to see if re entering the castle was possible...)
Oh and yeah I was now reminded that slavery was still a thing when this game is set, add another one to the list of historical facts these games made me notice or remember.
