Wie seriös #Microsoft ist, zeigt sich alleine daran, dass bei unserer elf Jahre alten Notebookmühle bis vor zwei oder drei Wochen angezeigt wurde, sie sei nicht Windows 11 kompatibel und jetzt plötzlich wurde sie es doch.

So, I have assembly running on the devkit on both arm64 cores.
But I can't run C until I can compile C, and have a C runtime library.
Attempts to build newlib from scratch as a standalone library ended poorly (I got a makefile that did nothing, apparently other people have hit this and I never got a straight answer as to how one builds a naked cross-newlib, not as part of a compiler).
So now I'm trying to build a full aarch64-none-elf toolchain. Wish me luck.

Ich habe versucht den elf Jahre alten Fenstersauger (Kärcher WV50) zu reparieren, leider ist der Motor das Problem und ich weiß nicht, wie ich den ersetzen kann. Die Turbine(?) scheint aufgeklebt und der Aufdruck auf dem Motor nicht mehr lesbar. Meh.
Zumindest war er einfach zu öffnen. 11 Torx T10. Allerdings geht es nicht mit Bits, weil die Schrauben zu tief sitzen. Mit einem dünnen Schraubendreher geht es.

Last weekend our granddaughter visited to help decorate our tree and we watched Elf, a movie about #Christmas spirit, because we were feeling Christmassy. I think the majority of Canadians believe in the spirit of this season. We're a little bit more polite and kinder, if that's even possible, and underneath the snark, the passive aggressiveness, the ##ElbowsUp, is a pack of big cuddly beavers. You don't have to take my word for it because places like Quebec City, Banff, and Vancouver regularly end up on lists for best places to sit on Santa's knee. He lives in Canada so not a surprise. Did you know that in 2018, Canada was ranked as #1 most Christmassy country in the world. They can't put it on the internet if it isn't true.
