The move to Windows 11 isn’t just about security updates.
It increases dependence on Microsoft through aggressive cloud integration,
forcing users to adopt Microsoft accounts and services.
It also leads to higher costs due to subscription and licensing models,
and reduces control over how your computer works and how your data is managed.
Furthermore, new hardware requirements will render millions of perfectly good PCs obsolete.
This is a turning point.

❝If Trump gets away with this, he will absolutely do the same thing during the 2026 & 2028 elections. He will manufacture unrest just like in LA and send federal troops to every major city as a way to intimidate voters and decrease turnout. Functional end to fair elex.❞

@MrCyjaneK is correct that a server can only provide CalDAV updates if it has full access to the content. This is because the CalDAV protocol and clients have no concept of end-to-end encryption.

We currently have no plans to offer users the ability to reveal calendar data to the server in this manner, but if the CalDAV protocol ever evolves to include e2e encryption we'd be interested in supporting that.

First images of the Sun's south pole!
Solar Orbiter is the first space probe to look at the Sun's poles – and finds the magnetic field there in a state of turmoil. The Sun's magnetic field is currently undergoing a flip. During its latest flyby of the Sun at the end of March this year, the Solar Orbiter space probe had its first clear view of our star's poles. First images:

This image shows a magnetic field map from Solar Orbiter's Polarimetric and Helioseismic Imager (PHI) instrument, centred on the Sun's south pole. Blue indicates positive magnetic field, pointing towards the spacecraft, and red indicates negative magnetic field. On an off-set concentric grid with an overall yellow base color, blue and red bent stripe-like structures are sprinkled across the field of view. © ESA & NASA/Solar Orbiter/PHI Team, J. "Inspired by the political philosopher Albert Hirschman, figures including Goff, Thiel and the investor and writer Balaji Srinivasan have been championing what they call “exit” – the principle that those with means have the right to walk away from the obligations of citizenship, especially taxes and burdensome regulation. Retooling and rebranding the old ambitions and privileges of empires, they dream of splintering governments and carving up the world into hyper-capitalist, democracy-free havens under the sole control of the supremely wealthy, protected by private mercenaries, serviced by AI robots and financed by cryptocurrencies."
...
Our opponents know full well that we are entering an age of emergency, but have responded by embracing lethal yet self-serving delusions. Having bought into various apartheid fantasies of bunkered safety, they are choosing to let the Earth burn. Our task is to build a wide and deep movement, as spiritual as it is political, strong enough to stop these unhinged traitors. A movement rooted in a steadfast commitment to one another, across our many differences and divides, and to this miraculous, singular planet."

Hi hi!! I really need some #MutualAid!!
I’m trying to find the full 45-minute documentary “The Anarchist Rabbi” (2014) by Adam Kossoff.
This movie is a documentary about Rudolf Rocker, a German anarchist who worked with Jewish migrants in London’s East End, and it’s narrated by Steven Berkoff.
Here’s the movie on IMDb and similar websites:
- IMDb:

A middle-aged man stands alone in a studio setting with a muted backdrop. He wears a formal suit and tie, typical of his era. His expression is neutral, and the composition directs attention solely to him. The photograph is of Rudolf Rocker, a prominent German anarchist writer and activist.
