Accidents will happen.
So I decided after the car crash to setup a, what I call, hybrid system: Slackware KDE, by @… , remove some things, install grub and decide to do all applications by flatpak. Except for those KDE apps obviously.
It's probably relief setting in, but it sure feels fresh and snappy again!

I'm sorry peeps, but no wifi or bluetooth are dealbreakers.
So, I'm getting there: number 3 is Slackware nwg, a GTK shell on top of (in my case) hyprland.
Another Slackeroni production (kudos to @… and @… !). Defying the idea that Slackware is a bit behind or so, running the 6.14.8 kernel, zram, pipewire, hyprland 0.49, you name it.
For this one I've chosen to let go of flatpak and use native packages (slackbuilds as well, obviously). It's all there.
Gentoo with dwm is the odd one out. Should anything happen there dwm will be loaded on Slack as well.
