Lectures on bar and cobar
We discuss Lurie's (derived) bar and cobar constructions, the classical ones for simplicial groups and sets (due to Eilenberg-MacLane and Kan), and the classical ones for differential graded (co)algebras (due to Eilenberg-MacLane and Adams) and their relations, putting them into an abstract framework which makes sense much more generally for any cofibration of infinity-operads. Along these lines we give new and rather conceptual existence proofs of Lurie's adjunction (where bar is left adjoint)…

Leider musste ich feststellen, dass mein liebgewonnener erster Band der Abenteuer von Fafhrd und dem Grauen Mausling auf den letzten Metern auseinander geht.
Hat jemensch Tipps, wie der Schaden zu beheben wäre?
Es sind (bisher) nur die letzten knapp fünfzig Seiten betroffe aber ich denke, es müsste alles komplett nochmal in den Einband geklebt werden, oder?

The role of dimensionality in the magnetic properties of CeIn$_3$ nanowires
In this work, we have explored the Metallic-Flux Nanonucleation method to synthesize single crystals and nanowires (diameter $\approx$ 170 nm) of CeIn$_{3}$ and compare their properties. The effects of reduced dimensionality were systematically investigated using Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), Selected area electron diffraction (SAED), magnetic susceptibility, heat capacity, and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).
