What started as a “two week” (*laughs*) breaking change has mushroomed into a giant six-month monster that has hugely improved every part of Kitten but fuck me if I ever let it get this bad again. So overwhelmed right now and focussing on the small mechanical steps to pull it all together. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to release it this month and then get back to Catalyst and Meow.
Can’t wait to return to frequent small iterations and updates.

AeS and his allies have been putting his name and image “out there” to a greater degree than any Senate candidate I’ve seen. His opponent have been doing it too, but they don’t seem to be saying much beyond “Brown guy with weird name is scary!”

I don't know what the objective was behind the changes in Mastodon's design but I don't think it is a good idea to hide so much behind icons when one of the most common criticisms of #Mastodon is that it is hard to use. I use it on desktop, maybe it's optimised for mobile, but I liked that everything was easily accessible on two sides of the feed. Also the "new post" window opening in front of the feed instead of being always on is annoying as fuck.
