How's this for an analogy: LLMs for code feel a lot like going from rifles to machine guns.
I will never say machine guns are good. They are bad for the world. But if they exist, I would want to use them in my military for defense. But I wouldn't want to give a machine gun to every one (cc America) and I wouldn't want the military to do worse training because machine guns cloud make things easier.
