An update to my work-from-a-coffee-shop experiment.
I finally got out to a coffee shop with my iPad and Magic Keyboard, and am using this time to respond to emails.
The coffee shop seemed very happy with me buying a coffee and sitting here without restriction. So, that’s what I am doing.
Although they have free Wi-fi here, I am tethering to my phone… feels safer, although I guess I could VPN 🤔
I’m also meeting @… here for lunch, so that will be nice.
Best of all, I can access my NAS remotely, so I have everything I need 😅

Logseq (the Electron app on MacOS) uses the dugite library to interact with git, which ships its own copy of git, but doesn't include a git-credential-osxkeychain. And my normal auth to GitHub uses credential.helper=osxkeychain. Sigh.
