This paper investigates the theory of lattices, focusing on extending lattices relative to abstract classes, modular lattices, and torsion lattices. Definitions of type-1 and type-2 extending lattices are provided, along with their weakly extending counterparts. Rapid stabilization for a wave equation with boundary disturbance
In this paper, we study the rapid stabilization of an unstable wave equation, in which an unknown disturbance is located at the boundary condition. We address two different boundary conditions: Dirichlet- Dirichlet and Dirichlet-Neumann. In both cases, we design a feedback law, located at the same place as the unknown disturbance, that forces the exponential decay of the energy for any desired decay rate while suppressing the effects of the unknown disturbance. We report a family of luminescent alternant diradicals which, at room temperature, support a ground-state spin-triplet, near-unity photoluminescence quantum yields, and optical spin addressability. For any knot $K$ in $S^3$ and any positive rational $r$, we show that smooth $(-r)$-surgery on $K$ always admits a tight contact structure. More specifically, the tightness is detected by the non-vanishing Heegaard Floer contact invariant.

This paper explores the topologies of caustics observed in instruments that employ charged particles, such as electron and ion microscopes. These geometrical figures are studied here using catastrophe theory. We obtain the ground-state phase diagram of two spin chains consisting in a set two-level systems asymmetrically coupled to an XX chain through a chiral interaction.
