If Mamdani doesn't seriously do something about cars, I think I'm done with this city. It's absolutely fucking ridiculous out there. There were a lot of campaign promises made, we'll see if he follows through over the next 3-7 years.
Like, if Cuomo/Hochul end up being the electeds to have done the most to reduce car use in NYC, that'll be a pretty damning indictment of our leadership. A few more bus/bike lanes ain't gonna cut it.

Won't happen for me.
1. Bus service all too many days is unreliable and I don't want to be stuck.
2. On some days I have meals in the slow cooker. Why? Wife is disabled and has challenges cooking so I make sure she has a meal ready to eat and I would like to be home having dinner with her rather than waiting for a bus.

Frida Khalo was such a legend. I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, because she is so iconic. But for me, her self determination and control of her own image in the face of her illness and disability is the lesson we could all take from her. #Tate #art
