There's a small Japanese-French bakery in our hood run by a mother-daughter team (the best bakery in Toronto, IMHO). Everything they sell is mind-blowing. The milk bread may be my fav, though their French translation (pain de mie) entirely fails to give it the credit it deserves. Their milk bread is to even the best sandwich bread what handmade Swiss chocolate is to Hershey's.
