Measurements of semileptonic and leptonic beauty meson decays at Belle II
Three recent measurements of leptonic and semileptonic decays of $B$ mesons are presented here. All results use the full Belle II Run 1 $e^+e^- \to Υ(4S) \to B\bar{B}$ dataset of 365 fb$^{-1}$. We present one leptonic $B$ decay result: a measurement of the $B^+ \to τν$ branching fraction with a hadronic tagging method; and two semileptonic $B$ decay results: a determination of $|V_{cb}|$ using $B \to D \ell ν$ decays with an inclusive tagging method and a test of lepton flavour un…

Happy International Left Handed Day to all those afflicted, including my oldest daughter. Just over 10% of people are left-handed, and only 5% to 6% for women. Some studies have reported that rightys have higher IQs than lefties. Hey, it's just science people, don't shoot the messenger. Things have improved for left-handers, and rarely are they seen as evil because of how they write. The word sinister comes from the Latin word for left-handed.
My daughter being a southpaw was a huge advantage during her competitive softball years. As one of only 2 left-handed pitchers in a league of 1,200 girls, she was very effective league play and in travel tournaments despite being slower than average. She did have a wicked curve that broke in sharply on right-handed batters.

We carry out a Lorentz gauge evaluation of the single-soft photon bremsstrahlung radiative corrections to the unpolarized elastic lepton-proton scattering cross section at low energies using the framework of heavy baryon chiral effective field theory (HB$χ$PT).
