Change of plans: I didn’t end up waiting for the upcoming Minisforum MS-03 Workstation after all, but instead decided on the ASUS NUC16 PRO on a whim.

So, I have judged C `std::unordered_map` for a quite a few years, but it appears that many of the performance issues were kinda resolved.
Upon running both a full microbenchmark suite comparing it to equivalent in other languages, and benchmarking the logic engine I made with indices based upon it, performance hold up quite well!
Another questionable win for C I guess.
