I rode on this street (15th Ave NE) 1000s of times with no bike lane, when I used to live on 16th Ave NE. It sucked. I pointed out that drivers only really parked on one side of the street. The city had a plan to repave and add a protected bike lane, but it was delayed for years due to, of all things, "natural gas" pipe expansions. I moved to NYC before they started the project.
It looks SO GOOD, and just as I predicted, the parking is not overloaded despite being on only one…

Noch mal zur Erinnerung, warum es wichtig ist, eure Abgeordneten anzuschreiben – per Mail oder Fax ;-) – und ihnen zu erklären, dass eine Chatkontrolle IMMER eine schlechte Idee ist.
Ich glaube, dass viele von ihnen gar nicht verstehen, was der Plan ist. Nämlich das Mitlesen sämtlicher Kommunikation. Auch ihrer eigenen, denn sie verwenden ja ebenfalls Smartphones. Um z.B. mit ihrer Familie zu kommunizieren, aber evtl. vielleicht sogar mit ihrem Arzt oder Ärztin.

a) how perfectly in sync Charlie Kirk's and the US Administration's hate rhetoric is.
b) how important the 'youth' demographic is to the US Administration/GOP's long term plan.
