The ngscopeclient about dialog now has a (hopefully) full list of all 77 authors credited! Very manual generation process for now, but I'm going to try and automate the list generation for the future.
One less thing to do before we ship the v0.1 release.
We now have only six release blocking tickets and then we can ship it:
* Fix some shaders assuming unlimited X axis thread block size is possible
* Binary packaging for MacOS
* Window resize events not handled …

The following is a list of all contributors to ngscopeclient, libscopehal, and libscopeprotocols, alphabetically by GitHub username.

* 0bs3n (sen)
* 602p (Louis Goessling)
* 9names
* andresmanelli (Andres)
* antikerneldev
* attie-argentum (Attie Grande)
* azonenberg (Andrew Zonenberg)
* bgianfo (Brian Gianforcaro)

Reading through the changelog, I’m struck by how many new features we have. How is it platforms like Threads, Bluesky, and Twatter take forever to release a new feature with the huge resources they have???

Never too many walkthroughs for a release. It may be a bit of overkill, but it works for us...
1. Pre-release the day before to go over the schedule of activities and assignments.
2. Schedule release and related backups.
3. Day of release and after schedule created for run another walkthrough to verify that the backups are where they need to be, checkpoints are there, start of the process is on manual hold.
4. Schedule an open teams call for the leads, devs and supp…

Quote Posts are almost here!
Finally! A feature that has been held back for a long time but that really brings life to a social network: the ability to share, add, etc.

Quote Posts (part one)

Earlier in the year, we shared our thought process about bringing the much-requested Quote Posts feature to Mastodon. We’ve worked hard on bringing this capability to the platform while maintaining the strong safety principles that Mastodon is known for.
