"Wisselwachter" van mijn favoriete geschiedenisleraar, Geert Mak, gaat over Harry Hopkins (ooit van gehoord?) en speelt zich grotendeels af tijdens de vier (!) presidentschappen van Roosevelt. Hopkins' invloed (veelal achter de schermen) op de wereldpolitiek van die tijd en ver daarna kan nauwelijks onderschat worden.
Tegelijkertijd kun je dit boek niet lezen zonder aan de actuele toestand(en) in de VS te denken.

"Dressed Like Boys" is de nieuwe band van Jelle Denturck, zanger en frontman van de Belgische indierockband DIRK (die niet meer bestaat?)
Dressed Like Boys lijkt in weinig op DIRK. : breekbare, rustige persoonlijke songs die fraai begeleid worden door de band.
Heel eigenzinnig, stemmig en authentiek.
