Today's Trump v. CASA decision screams for an expansion of SCOTUS.
Why?
Because this opinion means more cases will come to SCOTUS to be resolved to achieve national consistency.
Yet SCOTUS is overworked.
This was mentioned in the SistersInLaw podcast from last week, "Pretzel Logic" where it was said:
"I mean, this is maybe grounds for we need a bigger court. We need two Supreme Courts so that they can handle enough cases."

Good Morning #Canada
The Dirt on Canadian Farming now enters Day #6, and we'll hang around the east coast today.
Nova Scotia is one of the most challenging regions for agriculture as it is limited by ocean, a rocky landscape, cool and wet climate, and acidic soil. Some of those conditions are ideal for blueberries and apples, and those farms have increased recently with the rise in fresh fruit prices. Grape growing and wine production is another sector increasing and difficult to keep bottled up. Wineries are French hybrid stock suitable for the local conditions. The rest of Nova Scotia's agriculture is made up of dairy, pigs, and maple syrup. Mink production, once a sizeable portion of the province's exports, has decreased significantly since fur coats have thankfully gone out of fashion.

"The complicity exposed by this report is just the tip of the iceberg; ending it will not happen without holding the private sector accountable, including its executives. International law recognizes varying degrees of responsibility – each requiring scrutiny and accountability, particularly in this case, where a people’s self-determination and very existence are at stake. This is a necessary step to end the #genocide

I bought a pair of SSDs for home. I put them in my btrfs filesystem (mirrored data). One of them kept throwing corruption warnings (which btrfs repaired):
BTRFS info (device sdh): read error corrected: ino 0 off 18526171987968 (dev /dev/sdh sector 238168896)
Thousands of those, all over the device.
I removed that device again.

My /home directory was stored on a RAID 0 composed of two cheapish SSDs, and one of them already has "slow sectors".
I migrated it to the next best thing I had lying around: An array of 4 mechanical HDDs in RAID 10. (far2 layout)
You would think that HDDs would be painfully slow, but it's not that bad, actually.
It's very slightly slower, but it appears that 4 HDDs working together can almost beat a cheap chinese SSD.
