Spare a thought today for how fucked it is that Prop A the housing bond might get a 66% yes vote and *lose*. We shouldn’t have to vote on it at all! #RepealProp13

I get a lot of flack about owning my home, but owning a home is not the same as being a landlord. On two occasions I have *given* people $2.5k for housing (a 24 year old friend I knew since they were 21 and my aunt). I even offered to let them use my spare room (although this was not viable for my aunt because of needing space for four people and two dogs and not being able to split up). Home ownership can be praxis under our current system of capitalism, but not like I am opposed to communist proposals

Well this will be a fun week. Down to two people to do the work. I have a list of tasks by priority tacked to my board beside the work laptop. I know there will be people commenting that their work didn't get done as fast, but two of us are doing the work of four people so only priority tasks get done. If I get a spare minute (laughing at that one) I may get around to that. Team was originally 7, but with retirements down to 4 then 3.
