Can you do a favor for my friend @…? He was already having a lousy enough week with his car and his city falling apart when state troopers arrested his wife @… for protesting against the murder of Alex Pretti. (Arrested for what? AFAICT, they were just looking to make an example of some protestors. Just good old harassment via the legal system.)
Now the family has lost work and impending legal bills on top of that new transmission. I’m sure they’d appreciate it if you can chip in a few bucks:

Jeg er fascineret af husfacaderne her i Prenzlauer Berg. Desværre ved jeg tæt på intet om de forskellige arkitektoniske perioder, så jeg kan ikke navngive dem på billederne. Men fine er de!

Husfacade i støvet, lys rød/mørk laksefarvet med hvide rammer om vinduerne og er bånd under taget med en rød, bugtet linje. Midt på facaden en sektion i lys grå/hvid som er fremhævet fra resten og har høje, smalle vinduer
Høj lejlighedsbygning i hvid marmor hvor hjørnesektionen er åben men markeret af en høj kobberplade

Yesterday Cory Doctorow argued that refusal to use LLMs was mere "neoliberal purity culture". I think his argument is a strawman, doesn't align with his own actions and delegitimizes important political actions we need to make in order to build a better cyberphysical world.

There is variation in everyone, but society / context / environment makes that variation more burdensome for some than for others. “Neurotypical” is not a thing that anyone •is•, but rather an archetype that human systems are designed for / evolved around.
When we recognize that “neurotypical” is an archetype and not an actual person, we can reach the same insight that the Air Force reached: you don’t build things to some single optimal set of “normal” dimensions; you make things more adjustable, flexible, accommodating of variation.
