I think nobody wants AI in Firefox, Mozilla
Mozilla is developing a built‑in AI assistant for Firefox that will be offered as a third browsing mode alongside Normal and Private tabs. They’re calling it “Window AI.”

Woo! Got Intext EPROM working on my Epson HX-20 after quite a fight!
After Ghidra'ing the ROM dump to figure out what the error it was giving was about, I figured out it needed me to go through BASIC and do a CLEAR to specify a 'ram file' size for it to use.
Now, to figure out a Ghidra patch.

Is it just me? Perhaps because I often have only one or two tabs open - I'm a compulsive tab closer. But the new UI in macOS Safari for handling tabs wastes space, is hard to use, and confuses me constantly about where the URL box is and such. I am unsure why it passed muster at product review time.
Perhaps it works well for others. But even if you always have more than one tab open, it still wastes vertical space.

I ditched Office 365 and switched to LibreOffice a few weeks ago.
I had to switch the user interface setting from "standard toolbar" to "tabs" to feel familiar, but I am quite happy now.

need to find a way to put #XFCE Terminal tabs at the bottom. it's a terminal: I spend all my pointer focus at the bottom and the tabs on the ceiling are a long way for a thumb on a touchpad 😅
Ok, I’m procrastinating downloading a bunch of vids with yt-dlp and at this point I’m already reaching the tabs limit on this Safari profile
What’d be the best way of downloading a bunch of videos with yt-dlp while still keeping a good control of what failed and what succeeded? (this is basically impossible from its output if you feed it a bunch of links in a single go)
I was wanting a webui I could selfhost and it’d show progress and status for each video it’s downloading (and let me pass custom options to the yt-dlp command, such as filename), but should I just make a script with a for loop for each URL instead?
was trying to decide which match to watch in 15 minutes bc im not invested in anyone playing the rest of the day AND THEN I REMEMBERED that the Greece national manager looks like an evil wizard so I will be keeping tabs on his dark magicks

Talking about #neomutt today. Hopefully, it'll be easier to read than it was to write :)

Man, sometimes my autistic hyperfocus gets me all riled up about fascists. I think I’ll just close all my tabs and head back to Bandcamp.
Hrmm, worked on writing the #adventofcode 2025 Day 1 solve in Rust, wasn't too horrible. Pretty fast though I did have all of the tabs open trying to figure out how to do things.

Double digit open browser tabs stresses me out 😬
It's really easy to find out if a company is an asshole.
Just go to their website, click couple of buttons and if they open it in a new tab then they think you are a joke.
("Ofc I wanna have my browser populated by microsoft tabs.")
I think this is the first time I like a GitLab UI change. The "search or go to" field makes much more sense on the top of the page. And I can create a new issue from anywhere in a project. Still not a fan of issues opening in this weird sidebar thing (my browser has tabs and a back button..).
Trying to daily drive Epiphany (Gnome Web) as my browser for a while. It's handling all of the sites that I need it to, including everything school-related, but for whatever reason I can't create or edit any bookmarks.
I'm trying to resist the temptation to start something WebkitGTK based. Epiphany's interface is, well, ok. But I'd really love something more flexible. In particular, I'm missing the vertical tabs from recent Firefox releases - it's a real sp…

@… I use Tabliss in firefox, the tabs dont take more space than the menu in gnome. It's acctually nice and that works for me. The small icon on each tab makes switching with keys much easier when I can see that I want tab 5 for example
Yes, use AI to organize tabs and save time because placing a tab in a group is such a demanding and complex task. 🙄
