An update on how the City of Vancouver provides real-time text updates and information about its council meetings. Currently, the only way you can get that information is by having an account on X, the very fun website that everyone loves. Yesterday, they passed a motion to explore alternatives.

Poillievre's shrinking caucus made it to the BBC. It might be an interesting leadership review in January, but I honestly don’t see anyone else ready to step into his position if he was forced into a leadership race.
"Polling shows Poilievre remains popular with the majority of Conservatives, though that margin is shrinking. An Angus Reid poll released on Thursday revealed 58% of recent Conservative voters back Poilievre, down from 68% in August.”

Everybody in his administration bought stock on Friday when the market crashed.
Today there will be some magic good news pill that will take the market back up so they can sell and make more money.

In case you missed it: SF is planning to axe its Bike Advisory Committee.
The task force also proposes removing confirmation for mayoral appointments (which is all appointments) to the transportation board. This would remove one of the few checks on a bike-hostile mayor, which... we currently have!
