Put back, random choice of Er1 or Er3 (which is the firmware complaining it can't calibrate the range); randomly retighten it and the thread adapter. Nope. Squirt WD40 in the valve. Nope. Change batteries - ahha! Sometimes it'll show low battery, but sometimes, it just freezes or boils me.

Right now, I’m finding this kind of “cringe-laugh” material therapeutic. To protect my own mental health, I’m having to pace my grieving — which sounds so strange, but that’s what’s going on. Laughter and critical analysis both are functioning as a kind of escape valve for me right now. So please, as someone from Minneapolis, please grieve and rage, yes, and also please give yourself permission to laugh.

If I have a community “profile” on steam, but I never think of it, never look at the friend requests, never willingly interact with it, I would say I do not use it. But the bean counters at Valve would presumably count me as part of their “social users” population.

@azonenberg@ioc.exchangeBathroom update: there appear to be leaks where the shower diverter valve and diverter pipe meet *and* somewhere higher up inside the wall (perhaps at the upper elbow).
I can't access either of them without significant deconstruction. They're threaded connections, not soldered, which I'm not a fan of.

@chrislowles@mastodon.socialI kinda hold out on playing my Steam games through Steam Link cuz Australian internet speeds is still a meme so if Valve actually ends up making an Android client for Steam to install games on directly I'd be over the moon. Imagine taking your phone with some special USB-C to HDMI or DisplayPort cable, a Bluetooth controller and just having the ability to play your Steam library like that would change everything.
